Therapy can sound frightening to people, yet its positives outweigh the negatives.
It is like opening a band aid on past wounds and applying Neosporin. Overtime the wound is properly healed and it no longer calls your attention (e.g. people reenact past wounds in current relationships). When past experiences are repressed, one becomes tied to it and reenacts similar experiences in the future – the past is continually recycled. Exploring, feeling, and processing allows one to fully let go and move forward in life. Wisdom is nothing more than healed pain.
